Onshore Power Supply (OPS) infrastructure is critical for electrification and decarbonization of maritime transport. Beyond elimination of emissions from fossil-fuelled ships at berth, OPS solutions are becoming important for enabling operation of hybrid and battery-electric vessels with high power charging needs.
As part of the Nordic Roadmap Phase 2, SINTEF has reviewed the technological solutions as well as the infrastructure development, regulatory frameworks and funding options for OPS in the Nordic region.
This webinar will summarize the status, best practices and outlook for OPS infrastructure development and will cover the following main points:
- Introduction to the technology, including standardized and proprietary solutions
- Overview of drivers and challenges for OPS infrastructure development
- Status overview for the Nordic countries
- Outlook on business models and opportunities for OPS infrastructure development
The webinar is scheduled for 1 hour, with the last 20 minutes reserved for questions and discussions.
