The workshop focused on “the chicken-or-egg problem (supply vs demand), and closing the cost gap with focus on three key barriers; demand, fuel availability, and technology and safety. The participants was divided in different groups and assigned to on one of the key building blocks important for the green transition in the Nordics. The building blocks in focus for this workshop were cost- and risk sharing mechanisms, green shipping corridor and coordinated fuel availability. Each group discussed actions needed to overcome the three key barriers related to the specific building block and these actions were put on a timeline (2023-2030).
